It will be interesting to see whether we give Matt a proper budget. VT and Poole probably have the biggest budgets along with Wimbourne. I guess we need another 5 top class players to make a fist of it. Will our owner provide the money in this recession that effects builders?

Maybe 9 after yesterday. We need a proper experienced centre forward good in the air and strong. Someone like Sales at VT or Taylor at Totton. The latter is getting on so lets approach him. He would do a good job at this level.

In all seriousness...we do need at least half a team , particuliarly weak in midfield -Middleton excepted, yes a top notch striker for this level is needed, plus Austin ain't bad and young Case shows promise, so i wouldn't show them the door. Defence more tricky...certainly Watts shouldn't be skipper, he just isn't commanding enough in this role, the right back slot hasn't been succesfully sorted yet , Turner and Stone are steady...is that enough, i'm not sure?. Keep youngsters like Cotton and Mann if possible for the future, but dont expect them to feature as mainstays of the team and of the rest Tommy Woodward is useful as a squad player. Its all about opinions I know, but there no room for sentiment if the club is to move up a level
