Quite a bit of interest in this, so I think its a goer.
Can I suggest that we arrange a meeting prior to the first Saturday home game (Bristol Manor Farm on Sept 6th) in the revamped clubhouse? |

| As the club house wont be ready for a few weeks yet, I take it all those interested in reforming a supporters club have no objections to next weeks meeting being cancelled until such time as the clubhouse is ready? |

That's fine by me as I am double booked as Hamsphire play last home game in Pro 40.
The stand at Romsey next to the dug outs is just what we want to aim for! |

Whats happening?
Any new players?
Is the new roof finished or is the weather to poor.
Progress on revamp to club house?
Are we going for promotion this season?
Does any body like my idea of geting a shelter behind each goal?
Is there anybody out there? |

| How about the people who don't stand behind the goal? |

| The serious point is to introduce infrastructure to two different parts of the ground as I see this as the cheapest option, which may or may not qualify for ground grading points. |

Move behind the goal then. Either that or you can get wet. As i know one umbrella will not be enough. At least two will be needed, and no one is going to pay for those expenses. |

| Nick suggested, at Romsey, that it would be a good idea to put a shelter behind the goals (or at least one of them in the first instance) and I think it will be a priority once the club house is finished and the fences repaired but I expect he would appreciate any financial help towards it that the supporters club could offer. |

That is very encouraging news.
Two 14000 all seated cantilever roofed stands with stunning views over the Solent and the Hampshire countryside.
Named The Green Curtains Stands, and built with a contribution of thirty bob from the supporter club.
Come On You Reds..
OK Splodge
Supporters Club Fund raising targets for this season.
1)That will be £38000 for new floodlights
2)£10000 for two new stands
3)Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite ( That KAKA to me and you )
for 200 million Euros or 43,000,000 new Fareham scarves, 18000 million Fareham badges, 1.2 million Fareham china mugs, or and wait for it Rich and Jo selling the secret art of corner flag collecting to a certain H.H. Sheikh Mohammed for his lose change.
P.S.
The idea of naming the stands Green Curtains is not conceited at all. It would be in a perfect historical fit. From Green Curtains surrounding our last wondrous pitch at Bath Lane to multi million pound structures having the same function at Cams.
Oh dear those men with white coats have come for me again! |
