| I had the pleasure of driving down Newgate Lane today, past the entrance to the home of football. I noticed that a new road sign has been put up, pointing the way to Fareham town FC. About time to. Thank you to the relevent authorities for doing this. Now then, we need to lure more people to Cams. But how? When i have been driving around Wimborne over the past couple of years, on match days, there are three large wooden signs stating the fact that Wimborne Town are at home today. One is just off the A31 on the road into town, one is outside the road leading to the ground and the other one is in the town centre. They are probably about 6 foot by 3. Simple message. Wimborne town fc at HOME TODAY. Is this something we could look into. One sign could go up in newgate lane, under the new road sign, and another could go up at the end of the precinct by WH Smiths, council permission first of course. All it would need is someone to put up and take down on match day. Just a thought. RED AND BLACK FOREVER. |
